Abstract:
Provided are a system and a method for selecting and optimizing sound stimuli by using a deep neural network to regulate and improve the quality of human sleep. The deep neural network has the ability to characterize the processing of external stimuli (images, sounds, etc.) information by neurons in the human brain cortex. By inputting massive sound stimuli into the deep neural network, searching for the optimal sound pattern for sleep brainwaves estimated by a model, and applying this sound pattern to a real human body, through closed-loop optimization, to enhance the intensity of the human body's corresponding sleep waves in different sleep stages, and to achieve the purpose of regulating sleep. It mainly solves the technical problem of how to select and optimize the sound stimuli through the deep neural network to maximize the quality improvement of sleep when using sound stimuli means (music, voice, natural sound, white/colored noise, etc.) to assist human sleep.
