Abstract:
A defect detection method and apparatus for a cable buffer layer, a device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: obtaining specification parameters of a corrugated sheath (40) of a cable to be detected; calculating to obtain a first volume when a buffer layer (30) is not deformed and a second volume of a deformed part when the cable buffer layer (30) is stressed to deform; calculating to obtain a compression deformation ratio of the buffer layer (30) according to the first volume and the second volume; obtaining a voltage, a current, an electrode area, an electrode distance and an initial electrode distance when the buffer layer (30) reaches the compression deformation ratio; calculating to obtain a volume resistivity of the buffer layer (30); and comparing the volume resistivity with a preset evaluation parameter to obtain a defect detection result of the buffer layer (30). In consideration of lapping, damping and compression conditions of a wrapping tape of the cable buffer layer, the method can accurately calculate the volume resistivity of the cable buffer layer, and then can accurately determine, according to the volume resistivity, whether the cable buffer layer has a quality defect.
