Abstract:
Provided is a dehumidifier (1) that enables efficient selection between an air purification operation and a dehumidification operation, and that has excellent dehumidification performance while suppressing operating noise. The dehumidifier (1) has a first air passage that is formed inside a housing (3) and through which an airflow passes through an air purification means and reaches a dehumidification means, a second air passage that is formed inside the housing (3) and through which the airflow reaches the dehumidification means without passing through the air purification means, and an airflow restriction means (51) for restricting the flow of the airflow in the second air passage. An inlet of the second air passage is positioned on the outer-peripheral side of the air purification means, and an outlet of the second air passage is positioned closer to the center of the air purification means than the inlet.
