Abstract:
In the present invention, a first heat exchanger (4), a dessicant block (7), and a second heat exchanger (6) are disposed in series. Also, during a dehumidifying operation, there is the repetition in alternation of a first operating mode, in which the first heat exchanger (4) operates as a condenser or a radiator and the second heat exchanger (6) operates as an evaporator, and a second operating mode, in which the first heat exchanger operates as an evaporator and the second heat exchanger (6) operates a condenser or a radiator. Also, the amount of decompression during the first operating mode is controlled to be less than the amount of decompression during the second operating mode, and thereby the amount of dehumidification is increased by causing the degree of overheating of the evaporator (the second heat exchanger (6) in the first operating mode and the first heat exchanger (4) in the second operating mode) to be appropriate in both the first operating mode and the second operating mode.
