Abstract:
The purpose of this invention is to provide a delivery device, delivery method, and program that implement efficient communication when delivering information and make it possible to deliver useful information to each user. This delivery device (10) is provided with a detection unit (11) and a delivery unit (12). The detection unit (11) detects the number of communication terminals located in a delivery area in which information is to be delivered. If the number of communication terminals is higher than a predetermined number, the delivery unit (12) uses broadcast delivery to deliver the same information to multiple users, but if the number of communication terminals is lower than a predetermined number, the delivery unit (12) uses unicast communication to deliver, to each user, information determined in accordance with communication-terminal subscriber information.
