A demand prediction device (1) processes first associated data so as to resemble first performance data, selects data resembling the processed first associated data from among second performance data and second associated data, adjusts the waveform of the second associated data so as to match a trend of the selected second performance data, and selects a prediction model in accordance with the trend of the second performance data, thereby predicting demand.
