[Problem] To provide an insurance money/benefit payment processing system with which it is possible to actively process the calculation of an insurance money/benefit even when not applied for by a customer and to automatically present a payment method and a paid amount to the customer. [Solution] This insurance money/benefit payment processing system is configured so as to comprise a payment processing server and an external server. The payment processing server is composed of at least a storage unit, a computation unit, an input unit, an output unit, and a notification unit. The storage unit is provided with an insurance contract database. The insurance contract database is provided with at least a customer information table, an insurance contract table, a customer payment information table, and a medical information table. The computation unit is provided with at least an assessment means for determining whether a customer is eligible for payment of an insurance money/benefit, a calculation means for calculating and acquiring the insurance money/benefit to be paid and the days of payment on the basis of the result of determination by the assessment means, and a payment method selection means for automatically selecting an optimum method of payment.
