Abstract:
A transmission device is provided with: a demodulation circuit which, when a TLV packet, which is transmitted in superposition on a broadcast wave and has a variable data length, is converted into a divided TLV packet having a fixed data length, sets a speed for switching an L level and an H level of a clock signal for head data, which includes a packet header embedded in a header unit of the divided TLV packet, to half the speed for data behind the head data; and a transmission-side backend processing circuit which QAM-modulates, for cable broadcasting, a demodulated signal demodulated by the demodulation circuit.
