Abstract:
A dental orthodontic system, comprising a series of shell-shaped dental braces. The shell-shaped dental brace comprises at least one eruption cavity for accommodating an unerupted or erupting tooth. The geometrical shape of the eruption cavity is formed on the basis of a tooth prediction parameter in the fully erupted state of an unerupted or incompletely erupted tooth. The tooth prediction parameter is set to meet a predetermined threshold range, such that in the use process of the shell-shaped dental braces, the eruption cavity is always kept not in contact with the unerupted or erupting tooth. During the treatment using a series of shell-shaped dental braces, the eruption cavities in each of the series of shell-shaped dental braces remain the same or substantially the same as those of the other shell-shaped dental braces. Also provided is a design method and a manufacturing method for the dental orthodontic system.
