Abstract:
Provided is a dental retainer for maintaining the states of a first tooth and a second tooth adjacent to the first tooth. The dental retainer is implemented in a metal wire form. The dental retainer comprises: a first attachment part coming in contact with at least a portion of a surface; a second attachment part coming in contact with at least a portion of the surface of the second tooth; and a spacing part. The spacing part extends from the first attachment part and the second attachment part, is positioned between the first attachment part and the second attachment part, and is spaced apart from the first tooth and the second tooth. The spacing part is positioned between an embrasure formed between the first tooth and the second tooth and an interdental papilla present between the first tooth and the second tooth, and at least one corner of the spacing part is a parabola having a gentle curvature.
