Abstract:
Provided is a dentifrice which exhibits sufficient shape retention even when not a large amount of a polymer-type binder is contained, which does not leave a taste or a white stain even when the powder content is small, and which can be well dispersed in the oral cavity and exhibits light feelings in use.
A dentifrice which comprises 0.1 to 10mass% of (A) a thickening silica having an oil absorption of 150 to 500mL/100g, 0.1 to 8mass% of (B) heavy calcium carbonate, and 40 to 70mass% of (C) water at a (B):(A) mass ratio of 2:1 to 0.5:99.5.
