Abstract:
The present invention provides an epitope peptide derived from DEPDC1 having cytotoxic T cell inducing ability. The present invention also provides a polynucleotide encoding the peptide, an antigen-presenting cell presenting the peptide and a cytotoxic T cell targeting the peptide, and a method for inducing the antigen-presenting cells or the CTL. The present invention further provides pharmaceutical compositions and compositions containing the same as an active component. Furthermore, the present invention provides a method for treating and/or preventing cancer, and/or a method for preventing the post-operative recurrence of cancer, using this peptide, polynucleotide, antigen-presenting cell, or cytotoxic T cell, or using this pharmaceutical composition. Further provided is a method for inducing an immune response to cancer.
