Abstract:
Provided is a depth acquisition device capable of accurately acquiring the depth of an image. A depth acquisition device (1) is provided with a memory (200) and a processor (110). The processor (110): acquires timing information that indicates the timing at which a light source (101) radiates infrared light onto a subject; acquires an IR image that is acquired in accordance with the timing indicated by the timing information by means of image acquisition based on infrared light in a scene including the subject, and that is retained in the memory (200); acquires a BW image that is acquired by means of image acquisition based on visible light in substantially the same scene as that of the IR image, the image acquisition being performed at substantially the same point of view and image acquisition time as those of the IR image, and that is retained in the memory (200); detects a flare region from the IR image; and estimates the depth of the flare region on the basis of the IR image, the BW image, and the flare region.
