Abstract:
A desktop icon arrangement method and system. The method comprises: when a desktop icon rearrangement function is enabled (S1), determining whether a vacant position exists among desktop icons (S2); if the vacant position exists, acquiring a motion acceleration of a mobile phone, and determining whether the motion acceleration is greater than a preset threshold (S3); and if so, performing a continuous arrangement on the desktop icons (S4). Since a presence of a vacant position among desktop icons is determined only when a desktop icon rearrangement function is enabled, and the motion acceleration of a mobile phone is acquired only when the vacant position is present among the desktop icons, the energy consumption is reduced. Meanwhile, when a user performs an operation such as shaking the mobile phone, the motion acceleration is greater than a preset threshold, so an automatic and continuous arrangement of the desktop application icons can be realized through the shaking operation of the user, fully filling the vacant position among the desktop application icons, and being simple to use by a user. The shaking operation is convenient to operate, and is simple and reliable.
