Abstract:
The present embodiments relate to a method and an apparatus for detecting a sequence and data in a direct sequence spread spectrum system. One embodiment provides an efficient method for simultaneously detecting two pieces of information without knowing the spreading sequence and the data bit at the same time in a direct sequence spread spectrum communication system. The two pieces of information are detected by replacing received signals for several bits in the form of a matrix and repeatedly performing decoding on a chip sequence and the data bits. In addition, provided is a method for simultaneously detecting the time synchronization of the chip sequence, a chip sequence, and data bits, while the time synchronization with respect to the chip sequence is not secured.
