Abstract:
For the purpose of detecting the state of an optical fiber, this detection system is provided with: at least one light source which outputs a plurality of test lights that are input to proximal end sides of optical fibers and in which wavelengths and bending losses of the corresponding optical fibers are different; at least one reflection body which reflects the respective test lights, which are transmitted through the optical fibers, on the distal end sides of the corresponding optical fibers; a plurality of light receiving units which receive, on the proximal end sides, the plurality of reflection lights that are lights reflected by the at least one reflection body; and a determination unit which compares information on the reflection lights and a reference set value, on the basis of the information on the reflection light in each of the plurality of light receiving units.
