Abstract:
A cuff (10A) which serves as a detection unit for a blood pressure information measuring device is provided with: an air bag (20A) which has therein a space (22) for compression for compressing a wrist (200); and a light emitting element (31) and a light receiving element (32) which serve as a photoelectric sensor. The air bag (20A) further has a housing space (24) which is formed by joining a sheet-like member (23) to the outer surface of a bag-like member (21) which forms the space (22) for compression. The light emitting element (31) and the light receiving element (32) are housed within the housing space (24) and are held by being sandwiched between the bag-like member (21) and the sheet-like member (23).
