Abstract:
Provided is a determination method for determining the charging reception performance and/or discharging performance of a power storage device. The determination method comprises: acquiring the open voltage of the power storage device after energization in a presumed energization pattern, the open voltage being estimated on the basis of the state of charge of the power storage device at the time of determination; acquiring a voltage fluctuation due to the presumed energization pattern after the energization in the presumed energization pattern, the voltage fluctuation being estimated on the basis of the internal resistance of the power storage device and the state of charge and temperature of the power storage device at the time of determination; acquiring a voltage fluctuation due to an energization history before the energization in the presumed energization pattern, the voltage fluctuation being estimated on the basis of a polarization component of the power storage device before the energization in the presumed energization pattern; and determining, on the basis of the acquired open voltage, the voltage fluctuation due to the presumed energization pattern, and the voltage fluctuation due to the energization history, whether the power storage device can be energized with the presumed energization pattern.
