Abstract:
The present invention provides a device for anesthetizing live fish that allows a gaseous mixture containing mixed oxygen and carbon dioxide to be efficiently supplied into water. A device 1 for anesthetizing live fish whereby a gaseous mixture containing mixed carbon dioxide and oxygen is supplied into sea water or fresh water, and the live fish is thereby anesthetized, wherein the device 1 for anesthetizing live fish is provided with a water tank 2 for storing sea water or fresh water, and a superfine air bubble generator 3 for supplying a gas as superfine air bubbles into the water tank 2, the superfine air bubble generator 3 having an air bubble generation medium 30 formed with a carbon-based porous material, a gaseous mixture container 34 for storing a gaseous mixture in which carbon dioxide and oxygen are mixed at a prescribed ratio, and an adjustment valve 25 for adjusting the pressure of the gaseous mixture stored in the gaseous mixture container 34.
