Abstract:
A device for assembling a railway wheel provided with a disk brake is configured in such a manner that a pair of brake disks are disposed so as to face each other across both the plate section of the railway wheel and axis displacement prevention keys which penetrate through the plate section, and in such a manner that the disks are fastened together by bolts. The device is provided with: a disk receiving base which supports the inner hole of one of the disks; a wheel receiving base which is provided on the inside of the disk receiving base so as to be coaxial with the disk receiving base and which, on the disk supported by the disk receiving base, supports the boss hole of the wheel; and a bolt receiving base which is provided coaxially with both the disk receiving base and the wheel receiving base at a position outside the disk receiving base and which supports the bolts in such a manner that the positions thereof correspond to the positions of bolt holes formed in the disks and in the plate section of the wheel. The device is configured so that the disk receiving base and the wheel receiving base can individually rotate about the axis of the wheel, and so that the disk receiving base, the wheel receiving base, and the bolt receiving base ascend and descend relative to each other. As a result of this configuration, the railway wheel can be assembled by a reduced number of workers and the railway wheel can be assembled in reduced work hours for assembling.
