Abstract:
The device for assessing the success/failure of grinding of a rolling roll according to the present invention comprises a vibrometer data acquisition unit that acquires vibrometer data from when a rolling roll is ground using a roll grinder by using a vibrometer installed in the roll grinder, a vibration information acquisition unit that acquires vibration data during grinding of the rolling roll through frequency analysis of the vibrometer data, a spectrum upper limit setting unit that sets a spectrum upper-limit value and a specific frequency band determined on the basis of a usage state in a rolling machine in which the rolling roll is used, and a grinding success/failure assessment unit that assesses the success/failure of grinding of the rolling roll on the basis of the spectrum upper-limit value and the spectrum value of the vibration information in the specific frequency band.
