Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a device for automatically correcting the blade edge position, which is able to automatically correct deviation from a reference position for the tool blade edge due to the orientation angle or inclination amount of the tool blade edge when a lathing tool is mounted on the tool main shaft of an NC-controlled machine tool. [Solution] This device for automatically correcting the blade edge position when a lathing tool is mounted on the tool main shaft of a machine tool is characterized by having a means for acquiring a tool clamping surface inclination amount, a means for acquiring a tool shaft rotational phase angle, and a means for acquiring a tool protrusion amount for when a lathing tool is mounted on the tool main shaft, and having a first correction calculation processing means for adjusting the blade edge position on the basis of the tool shaft rotational phase angle with respect to the tool protrusion amount and inclination amount of the tool clamping surface, as acquired by the respective acquisition means.
