Abstract:
The present invention realizes, as a vehicle lamp comprising a projection lens, a lamp design in which the projection lens appears narrow in a lamp frontal view, and can sufficiently ensure the brightness of a light distribution pattern. Emitted light from a light source unit (20) is radiated toward the front of a lamp through a projection lens (30). The projection lens (30) comprises an emission surface (30a) having a vertically long external shape in a lamp frontal view. The light source unit (20) reflects emitted light from a light-emitting element (22) at a reflector (24) and causes the light to be incident on the projection lens (30) as light converging in the lamp left-right direction. Additionally, the projection lens (30) includes an incident surface (30b) formed wider than the emission surface (30a), and one left-right pair of standing wall surfaces (30c) formed so as to spread to both left-right sides toward the rear of the lamp from both side edges of the emission surface (30a), thereby causing emitted light from the light source unit (20) to efficiently enter from the incident surface (30b) and be guided to the emission surface (30a).
