Abstract:
A device for boring a lining at the branching portion of a pipe line, such as a gas pipe or a water pipe. To an end of a coiled tension spring (1), a coiled compression spring (2), the spring constant of which is smaller than that of the coiled tension spring (1), is connected. A frusto-conical head member (5), which is formed by coating an electric heating element (3) with a thermoplastic resin (6), is connected to the end of the coiled compression spring (2). One or more electric wires (9) connected to the heating element (3) are inserted through the coiled tension spring (1) and coiled compression spring (2) in slackened state. The electric wire (9) which is in the coiled tension spring (1) is fixed thereto at a plurality of portions thereof. A means N, which is capable of feeding the coiled tension spring while turning the same, is provided at the rear portion thereof.
