Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a device for determining an energization state, the device being usable without distinction as to direct current or alternating current. [Solution] An alternating-current electric current sensor 10 detects the rise and fall of an electric current flowing through a cable C and outputs a rise detection signal S1 and a fall detection signal S2. A direct-current detection circuit 20A detects the rise detection signal S1 and the fall detection signal S2 outputted from the alternating-current electric current sensor 10 and generates a rise detection pulse signal S4 and a fall detection pulse signal S5, and generates a direct-current detection signal Sd using the detection pulse signals S4, S5. An alternating-current detection circuit 20B, to which at least one of the detection pulse signals S4, S5 is inputted from the direct-current detection circuit 20A, generates an alternating-current detection signal Sa by smoothing the detection pulse signal inputted thereto.
