Abstract:
This device (20) for drawing an optical fiber (1) from a bobbin (10) comprises: a first drawing unit (50) that holds one end section (E1) of the optical fiber (1), draws a predetermined portion of the optical fiber (1) wound around the bobbin (10) from the one end section (E1) while the bobbin (10) rotates in a predetermined direction, and then returns a portion of the predetermined portion of the optical fiber (1) to the bobbin (10) while the bobbin (10) rotates in the reverse direction of the predetermined direction; and a second drawing unit (70) that, after the first drawing unit (50) draws the predetermined portion of the optical fiber (1) from the one end section (E1) side, holds the other end section (E2) of the optical fiber (1), and draws another predetermined portion of the optical fiber (1) wound around the bobbin (10) from the other end section (E2) when the first drawing unit (50) returns a portion of the predetermined portion of the optical fiber (1) to the bobbin (10).
