Abstract:
The invention concerns a device for driving material to be rolled on vertical rolling mill cages (WG), said device comprising on both sides two vertical rolls (VW), above the rollers (RR) of the line supplying and removing the material to be rolled and transversely to the rolling direction, supports (TR) of vertical driving plates for the material to be rolled, said supports capable of being displaced, adjusted and fixed. The invention is characterized in that the rear part of said support (TR) of the driving plates (FP) is connected to the element for linear adjustment of a mechanically or hydraulically actuated displacement device, which is fixed to the bearing (LK) of the vertical roll. Said support (TR) is guided by a collar in a guide sliding track (FK), fixedly connected to the rolling mill cage and located projecting from the line of rollers, parallel to the axis of the rollers.
