Abstract:
Provided is an ion or ozone generation device that is highly efficient and inexpensive. The present invention comprises, for example: a metal tube (50) having a first through-hole; a metal rod (1) that penetrates the first through-hole; a covering body (2) that penetrates the first through-hole and electrically insulates the metal tube (50) and the metal rod (1); a first insulating plate (B6) having a second through-hole through which the metal tube (50), the metal rod (1), and the covering body (2) pass; and a first metal plate (31) having a third through-hole (19) through which the metal rod (1) and the covering body (2) pass and which has a through-hole diameter that is greater than the cross-section diameter of the covering body (2). Corona discharge having mutually different characteristics can be generated by the metal rod (1) and the metal tube (50) and the metal rod (1) and the metal plate (31), respectively.
