Abstract:
A device for limiting the output of a photovoltaic power generation system according to the present invention comprises: a power generation quantity prediction information management unit for collecting power generation quantity prediction information and storing/managing same with regard to each photovoltaic power generation system; a matching information management unit for storing/managing matching information related to matching between respective power systems and at least one photovoltaic power generation system supposed to supply power thereto; a real-time power generation information management unit for collecting string-unit power generation quantity information from respective photovoltaic power generation systems in real time and accumulating/managing same; an intermittent energy monitoring unit for predicting whether intermittent energy is generated and the amount of generated intermittent energy on the basis of power generation quantity prediction information stored in the power generation quantity prediction information management unit and real-time power generation quantity information managed by the real-time power generation information management unit; an output limitation information determination unit for determining output limitation information of respective photovoltaic power generation systems on the basis of the result of prediction by the intermittent energy monitoring unit; and a remote control unit for remotely controlling the output of a corresponding photovoltaic power generation system on the basis of the output limitation information. The present invention is advantageous in that a power system that uses photovoltaic energy can be stably operated by predicting whether intermittent energy is generated and the amount of generated intermittent energy, and taking corresponding measures.
