Abstract:
This device for controlling a linear motor is provided with: a speed control unit that calculates a current command value through an integral operation using a first integral value as to the difference between the moving speed of a movable element provided in the linear motor and a speed command value calculated on the basis of a position command value; a current control unit that applies voltage to the linear motor on the basis of the current command value; and a correction value storage unit that stores the first integral value used by the speed control unit at the time when the movable element is at the position indicated by the position command value. When restarting control of the linear motor, the speed control unit sets the first integral value stored in the correction value storage unit to an initial value of the integral operation before a brake control unit turns off a braking device.
