Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device and method for detecting a target file on the basis of network packet analysis, wherein the device comprises: a reverse indexing database unit which generates one or more file chunks by chunking a detection target file, and reverse indexes each of the one or more file chunks as a detection target file code; a network packet reception unit which receives a network packet; a packet chunk processing unit which chunks the network packet to generate one or more packet chunks; a chunk querying unit which generates a packet chunk query for each of the one or more packet chunks and provides the packet chunk queries to the reverse indexing database unit to receive the detection target file code; and a file code determination unit which determines the most likely detection target file code in the network packet on the basis of the received detection target file code.
