Abstract:
A method for estimating time offset in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system is disclosed in the present invention, which comprises the following steps: acquiring pilot bit frequency domain channel estimation value of target user; transforming the acquired pilot bit frequency domain channel estimation value to time domain by Inverse Fourier Transform; performing multi-user separating for time domain pilot channel estimation by computing effective channel impulse response window length of the target user and performing time domain noise reduction processing on each antenna for each user; performing peak value searching for each target user respectively in the effective channel impulse response window to determine the peak value position; computing the time offset estimation value of the user based on the peak value position. A device for estimating time offset in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system is also disclosed in the present invention. The present invention can improve the accuracy of the time offset estimation, expand the scope of time offset estimation, and therefore improve the accuracy of terminal uplink synchronization.
