Abstract:
In view of the problem that how to configure and transmit multicast control channel (MCCH) notification information, the present invention provides a method and system for configuration and transmission of multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) notification information. Wherein, the transmission method includes: configuring the format of the downlink control information (DCI) of the physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), the content and the transmission location of the MCCH notification information beared in the DCI; a network side equipment using the DCI to transmit the content of the MCCH notification information, and a user equipment acquiring the content of the MCCH notification information by blind detection of the PDCCH in the corresponding sub-frame. The present invention enables the user equipment to obtain the updated MCCH message more quickly and exactly on the condition of multiple MCCHs, and thus the power consumption of the terminal can be reduced.
