Abstract:
A device for forecasting the risk of seasonal wildfire, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a processor; and a memory that stores a program executed by the processor, wherein the processor may use daily factors of a preset past period as training data to create a wildfire risk prediction model, on a monthly basis, that outputs fire weather index (FWI) values by inputting a set of climate factors, on the basis of a machine learning algorithm, and temporally and spatially analyzes fluctuation characteristics of the FWI values in a certain area through empirical orthogonal functions (EOF) analysis of the FWI values that are outputted through a plurality of wildfire risk prediction models that have been created on a monthly basis.
