Abstract:
Provided are a device and method for friction additive manufacturing of blanks. The device comprises a mold base structure, a rotating mechanism (13), a transmission shaft (14) and a tool head (22), wherein the rotating mechanism (13) drives the tool head (22) to rotate; the rotating mechanism (13) drives the transmission shaft (14) to rotate by means of a transmission key (15); the transmission shaft (14) and the rotating mechanism (13) are axially separated, and have a gap therebetween to allow the transmission shaft (14) to move axially; the transmission shaft (14) is connected to the tool head (22); a floating structure is sleeved on the outer side of the transmission shaft (14), and the transmission shaft is connected to the mold base structure by means of the floating structure; the transmission shaft (14) and the tool head (22) slide axially along with the floating structure; and the parameter ratio of the total reduction amount H2 of the tool head (22) to the height H1 of a preformed blank is set to satisfy the formula: 0.35 < H2/H1 < 0.85. The invention has the advantage of long service life of the tool head (22) and good blank forming quality.
