Abstract:
Disclosed are a device and method for implementing optical distribution. The device comprises an optical distribution frame, the optical distribution frame comprises an optical distribution disc, a polar coordinate robot and a front-end controller, wherein the front-end controller sends a command for executing a corresponding action to the polar coordinate robot; the optical distribution disc is circular and comprises one or more adapters, the one or more adapters being arranged on the circumference of the optical distribution disc, and the adapter being arranged to fix and connect an input optical fibre and an output optical fibre; the polar coordinate robot comprises a first bracket, connecting shafts, rotating arms and a first gripper, with a first end of the first bracket being arranged on the optical distribution frame, a second end of the first bracket being fixedly connected to a first end of one of the connecting shaft, a second end of the connecting shaft being connected to one of the rotating arms, and the rotating arm being provided with the first gripper facing the input optical fibre; and the central line of the connecting shaft and the centre of a circle of the optical distribution disc are on the same straight line.
