Abstract:
Disclosed are a device and a method for preparing a spherical metal powder based on a one-by-one atomization method for uniform droplets. The device comprises: a housing (19), a crucible (5) and a collector bin (13) provided inside the housing (19), a turntable (11) provided at a powder collecting zone which has an inlaid structure, wherein a material with poor thermal conductivity is selected as a matrix part of the turntable (11), and a metallic material with a wetting angle with respect to a liquid drop of less than 90° is selected and is inlaid into a main body part as an atomization plane (30) of the turntable (11), with a concentric groove (32) being provided on the atomization plane (30) and a vent (31) being provided in the turntable (11). The preparation method combines the pulsed micropore injection and centrifugal atomization methods, in cooperation with the structure of the turntable and subjecting the turntable surface to induction heating, such that a metal liquid is allowed to break through the fragment mode of a traditional molten metal, achieves a fibrous fragment mode which can be achieved only when an atomizing medium is an aqueous solution or organic solution, and prepares a high-melting-point metal powder that meets the requirements, and has a controllable particle size, high sphericity, no satellite drops, and good flow spreadability, and is suitable for industrial production.
