Abstract:
Provided are a device, method and program which make it possible to predict the attenuation of an electromagnetic wave in the sky of a target area while taking into account the impacts of future long-term changes in weather. This device for predicting the attenuation of an electromagnetic wave between the ground and a wireless device located above a target area is equipped with a data acquisition unit for acquiring past weather data for the target area, and an estimation unit for estimating the weather which corresponds to a future target year in the sky of said target area on the basis of past weather data, and estimating the attenuation of the electromagnetic wave on the basis of the weather estimation results.
