Title:
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2010109520
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A control means (5) for outputting a voltage command for controlling the drive of a rotating electric machine (1) adds a position estimation voltage command, which is generated in a position estimation voltage generator (12) and is used for estimating a rotor position, to a driving voltage command in adders (23u to 23w) and outputs as the voltage command. A position estimation means (4) includes: current extractors (6u to 6w) for extracting a position estimation current having the same frequency component as the position estimation voltage command from a rotating electric machine current detected by a current detection means (2); a position estimation current amplitude calculation unit (7) for calculating a position estimation current amplitude from the position estimation current; and an estimation position calculator (8) for calculating the estimation position of the rotating electric machine (1), based on the position estimation current amplitude. The position estimation current amplitude calculation unit (7) calculates the position estimation current amplitude, based on the autocorrelation value obtained by squaring the position estimation current.
