Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device and a method for taping a stack-type electrode assembly and, more specifically, to a device and a method for taping a stack-type electrode assembly, wherein in a taping process for the stack-type electrode assembly, the movement of a tape is guided, and the tape is pressed and rolled to adhere to the stack-type electrode assembly. An embodiment of the present invention may provide a device for taping a stack-type electrode assembly, the device comprising: a support part provided to correspond the center portion of a tape to be attached to the stack-type electrode assembly and the side surface of the stack-type electrode assembly; a vacuum adsorption part for adsorbing and fixing the non-adhesive surface of the tape; a gripper part which operates to grip the end portion of the tape to additionally fix the tape; and taping mechanism parts provided on and beneath the support part so as to attach the tape to the top and bottom surfaces of the stack-type electrode assembly while moving along the top and bottom surfaces of the stack-type electrode assembly.
