Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to 5G or pre-5G communication systems that are to be provided in order to support higher data transmission rates, in succession to 4G communication systems such as LTE. A terminal in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a controller for determining a first size corresponding to a number of bits allocated for a first PMI (precoding matrix indicator) and a second size corresponding to a number of bits allocated for a second PMI; and a transmitting unit for transmitting feedback information, including the first PMI corresponding to the first size and the second PMI corresponding to the second size, to a base station.
