Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the proportion of predictions liable to lead to user requirement violations by adjusting the result of resource design, even when it is likely that a large penalty will be produced by a user requirement violation. Provided is a device for preventing cloud service user requirement violation, the device comprising: a requirement designating function unit (11) for designating a user requirement with respect to a target service; and a resource design unit (12) which predicts, by machine learning, an achievable performance with respect to a plurality of resource settings when the target service is performed, and which selects a resource setting satisfying the designated user requirement on the basis of the result of the prediction. The resource design unit (12) generates, as a model to be used for performance prediction, a P-model using a P-mode loss function in which a function that takes a finite value when the actual performance is worse than a predicted performance is added to an N-model using an existing N-mode loss function.
