Abstract:
The present invention discloses a software controllable device for adaptively switching the audio output path. The device includes: a path state decision module coupled with each audio output path for checking if each audio output path is available; a prior path discriminating module for receiving the control information of audio output path priority and generating the control signal to output to a path switch module on the basis of the received control information and the result of path state check; a path switch module for output the audio signals to be played to the corresponding audio output path according to the control signal from the prior path discriminating module. The present invention also discloses a method for switching the audio output path. The device and the method provided by the invention can control the priority of audio output path by means of the software, then the adaptive switch of audio output path is entirely controlled by the underlayer hardware. Consequently, the processing efficiency of upper software may be improved.
