Abstract:
A device for transmitting rotation without contact has a main rotor (44); permanent
magnet units (51) fixed to the outer circumference of the main rotor at equal intervals;
an auxiliary rotor (46); and second permanent magnet units (52) fixed to the outer
circumference of the auxiliary rotor at equal intervals. Each of the first and
second permanent magnet units (51, 52) has a magnet body (12) formed by layering
on each other sheet-like permanent magnets and integrating them by allowing
them to attract each other, each permanent magnet having magnetic poles at the
opposite ends in the thickness direction; a roof-shaped member (30) formed of
a paramagnetic material and having two slopes extending obliquely from its ridge
line; a base end side yoke (16) formed of a paramagnetic substance and attracted
to the other end face of the magnet body; and a connection means (20) for integrally
connecting the sheet-like permanent magnets, the roof-shaped member, and the
base end side yoke. When the auxiliary motor is rotated by a motor (42), the main
rotor is rotated by magnetic force.
