Abstract:
The present invention provides a fixing/releasing device with which a buoyancy body and a weight can be securely fixed together by a simple structure, and with which easy release of this fixed state is possible. The fixing/releasing device (observation equipment) (1) of the present invention comprises a buoyancy body (observation equipment main body) (3), a weight (anchor) (5) and a connection device (7) for connection thereof. The connection device (7) comprises a closed loop member (17) and a connection structure made up of a rotating arm (19) and a connecting member (21). The connecting member (21) is locked to the rotating arm (19), and the buoyancy body (3) is fixed as a result of the closed loop member (17) restricting the rotation of the rotating arm (19). To release the buoyancy body (3), a trigger mechanism (9) provided in the closed loop member (17) is actuated and the closed loop member (17) is fused. Thereupon, the rotating arm (19) rotates, the connection member (21) comes loose and the buoyancy body (3) is released.
