Abstract:
The diagnostic imaging catheter (100) comprises: a drive shaft (102); a hub section (110) in which an insertion channel (111a) through which the drive shaft is inserted is formed and which is provided with a connector (115) that is fixed to the base end of the drive shaft; a solution-instilling section (111b), which is provided so as to communicate with the insertion channel and into which priming solution is instilled; a sealing member (113) provided around the drive shaft on the base end side of the solution-instilling section; a reinforcing tube (112) inserted between the sealing member and the drive shaft so as to cover the drive shaft; and a shaft deflection transmission-preventing part (117), which is provided on the base end side of the sealing member in the axial direction of the drive shaft and absorbs shaft deflections that occur with rotation of the connector.
