Abstract:
A diaper for a pet according to one embodiment has a body that extends in the transverse direction along the waist of a pet and in the longitudinal direction perpendicular to the transverse direction connecting the ventral side to the dorsal side of the pet, and that comprises an absorbent core. The body has a tail hole with a longitudinally long shape having a maximum opening width in the longitudinal direction that is greater than the maximum opening width in the transverse direction. The diaper for a pet is provided with: a pair of fastening tabs provided on the ventral side of the tail hole and extending outward from the side ends in the transverse direction of the body; and a target portion that is provided on the dorsal side of the tail hole and is engaged with the pair of fastening tabs. The dorsal end of the tail hole is located on the ventral side of the intermediate point between the central line in the longitudinal direction of the body and the ventral end of the target portion.
