Provided is a diaphragm valve that can preemptively avoid the leakage of a fluid in the diaphragm valve to the outside due to breakage of a diaphragm. This diaphragm valve includes: a valve body (10) that demarcates a channel (11) through which the fluid flows, and an opening section (12) that opens to the outside partway along the channel; a flexible partition member (21) that divides the channel (11) from the outside while covering the opening section (12) and changes the cross-sectional area of the channel (11); a flexible support member (22) that is disposed on a rear surface of the flexible partition member (21) opposite the channel side; a housing (41) that is secured to the valve body (10) via the flexible partition member (21) and a peripheral edge section of the flexible support member (22); and a moisture sensor (100) that detects the state of the atmosphere in the space demarcated by the inner surfaces of the flexible support member (22) and the housing (41), or changes in this state.
