Abstract:
Provided is a die-casting sleeve comprising an outer cylinder made of a low thermal expansion metal material and an inner cylinder shrink-fitted to the inner surface of the outer cylinder, the die-casting sleeve being characterized in that a flange section for fixing the die-casting sleeve to a fixed mold of a die-casting machine is provided on the outer circumferential surface of the outer cylinder, the inner cylinder is composed of a tip member, which is made of a low thermal expansion metal material and disposed on an injection port side, and a rear member, which is made of a silicon nitride ceramic and disposed in close contact with an end face on the rear end side of the tip member, the outer cylinder has an average thermal expansion coefficient αA of 1-5×10-6/°C at 20-200°C, the tip member has an average thermal expansion coefficient αB of 1-5×10-6/°C at 20-200°C, the difference between αA and αB being -1×10-6/°C to 1×10-6/°C, and 1/3×Din≤L1≤L2+20 is satisfied, where L1 (mm) is the axial length of the tip member, Din (mm) is the inner diameter of the tip member, and L2 (mm) is the distance from the tip of the outer cylinder to the rear end of the flange section.
