Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are a dielectric filter having steep out of band rejection, and an antenna, which belong to the field of communications technology. The dielectric filter comprises a main body; six resonant cavities which are connected in order are provided on the main body; a blind hole is provided on a cross coupling window between a second resonant cavity and a fifth resonant cavity among the six resonant cavities, the blind hole being used to achieve negative cross coupling, and two transmission zeros being formed by said negative cross coupling; and positive cross coupling being achieved between a first resonant cavity and a sixth resonant cavity among the six resonant cavities, two transmission zeros being formed by said positive cross coupling. Among embodiments of the present invention, the dielectric filter as a whole can form four transmission zeros, and therefore out of band rejection is steeper. No negative cross coupling is added on a transmission main path of the dielectric filter, and thus overall insertion loss of the dielectric filter is relatively low, and the degree of out of band rejection is higher.
